Jolse is a Korean online cosmetics store, that offers a great variety of just about anything you might need, from creams, lotions and serums to make-up and even products for the men in our lives. I placed my first order just before the winter holidays and was extremely pleased with my choices: 2 BB creams, 2 creams and one repairing emulsion.
The Holika Holika Clearing Petit BB Cream: My current favorite, very similar to an actual foundation. I personally prefer using my hands for application, it find it easier and quicker. It comes in a brightly colored plastic squeeze packaging, each color representing a type (there are five in total: Clearing, Moisture, Essential, Watery and Shimmery). Mine is the blue Clearing version, with extracts of tea tree oil and oil absorbent powder, which help clear your skin of blemishes. Tea tree oil is generally recognized as one of nature’s most effective and versatile healers. What I like about it is the light texture, buildable consistency, medium to high coverage, oil control, UV protection (it comes with SPF 30) and visible effect upon troubled skin. It has a slight pink undertone, which makes it go perfectly with my complexion. Being so petite makes it perfect for traveling - 30 ml, the almost half size of a regular BB cream.
Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream: This product promises to provide excellent coverage, while healing visible wrinkles and blemishes. It also claims to prevent skin aging, through effective whitening and anti-wrinkle properties. It contains calming Rosemary and Chamomile extracts and Gatuline RC (extracted from beech bud), with skin resilience effect. It comes in three shades: bright beige, light beige and natural beige. Mine is the latter.
I love the dosage system, a pump which prevents the product from spreading and becoming all messy. It has a slight gray undertone, so it doesn’t exactly go perfectly with all skin types. Unlike its predecessor, it isn’t oil- free and oil starts to show in the T-area after 3 hours. Therefore, I would recommend it mostly to girls with dry to normal skin. If you have oily or combo skin, I recommend setting it with powder. Still, it is long lasting (up to 8-9 hours), providing medium to full coverage a semi-matte finish and UV protection (SPF 42).
