Amster’s
restaurant promises to introduce you into the Amsterdam atmosphere, by serving Dutch
cuisine specialties. It is more of a café bar where you can also have something
to eat. The place is usually noisy and crowded in the evenings, especially
during the week-end, because it also has a pub area. I don’t really get the
purpose of it, to be honest, because the music is way too loud, so you can
neither talk/understand each other properly nor dance, like you would in a
club. The thing is that I absolutely love the salads and lemonade served there,
so I try to go a little earlier in the evening, when the noise and cigarette
smoke are not that disturbing. This time I had the Fulton salad, served
together with the gravy from the chicken breast salad (the Fulton salad comes
with its own gravy, but I had to switch, because I love this one) and a mint
lemonade. I will return in the future and show you more courses from the menu.

introduca in atmosfera Amsterdamului, prin servirea de specialitati olandeze.
Este mai degraba un café bar, in care puteti comanda si ceva de mancare.
Localul este, de obicei, zgomotos si aglomerat seara/noaptea, in special in
week-end, mai ales ca in interior exista si un pub. Personal, nu prea ii
inteleg sensul, deoarece, datorita muzicii puternice, nu este locul potrivit
pentru a sta de vorba (cu exceptia situatiei in care sunteti dispusi sa tipati
unii la altii) sau a dansa, asa cum ati putea-o face intr-un club. Motivul
pentru care frecventez acest local este ca salatele si limonadele sunt absolut
extraordinare. Incerc sa merg acolo seara devreme, atunci cand zgomotul si
fumul de tigara nu sunt atat de deranjante. De aceasta data, am comandat salata
Fulton, in combinatie cu sosul salatei cu piept de pui (salata Fulton se
serveste alaturi de un alt sos, insa eu il ador pe acesta, asa ca am facut
schimbul) si limonada cu menta. Pe viitor, va voi arata si alte specialitati
din meniu. Pana atunci, voi lasa fotografiile sa vorbeasca.
